Building the future of Bryn Mawr Hospital
Bryn Mawr Hospital is privileged to be a vital part of the Main Line community for more than 120 years. We've worked hard to be a good neighbor and employer while carrying out our mission to provide superior health care to the communities we serve.
Bryn Mawr Hospital, part of Main Line Health, has dedicated $250 million to renovating the hospital over the next several years. This infrastructure investment, the largest ever for our beloved hospital and the second largest in Main Line Health history, builds on our commitment to serving this community with modern facilities to make patients more comfortable and continue to improve patient convenience and, ultimately, our delivery of quality medicine.
We’ve started this renovation with a groundbreaking in May 2016. There are two phases of construction on our campus: a new medical office building and enhancement to the garage and a new state-of-the-art, 256,000 sq. ft., seven-story Patient Pavilion. The project is slated for completion by early 2019. During this time, we will ensure continued excellence in patient care and minimal disruption to our patients, employees and the community.
Going forward, I encourage you to visit this site for exciting updates about the project.
Thank you,
Andrea Gilbert

With approval from Lower Merion Township and input from residents and businesses, Bryn Mawr Hospital is enhancing the community for future generations. Our master plan for the hospital has been approved by Main Line Health’s Board of Trustees and architectural planning is underway.
